If your shipping address is in Queensland and your order contains a knife, machete, sword, or axe, you will be required to complete an online age verification in accordance with the Queensland Government’s End Knife Violence campaign.

As part of this process, you will receive a message with a link to a third-party verification app (provided by GBG) to verify your age. Your order will be held until the verification is successfully completed.

You must not falsely state your age or identity when using this website.

4. State-Specific Restrictions

Victoria

• Machetes cannot be shipped to addresses located within the state of Victoria.
• All shipping options for machetes to Victorian postcodes are disabled.

Queensland

• Orders to Queensland containing any of the following items:
  • Knives
  • Machetes
  • Swords
  • Axes
• These orders will be placed on hold pending successful completion of the Queensland Government age verification process under the End Knife Violence campaign.
• A link to the verification app (provided by GBG under agreement with the QLD Government) will be sent to the customer.

Other States and Territories

Laws regarding the possession, use, and import of knives, machetes, swords, axes, and other edged tools may vary in each Australian State and Territory.

While we enforce certain restrictions (such as age verification in Queensland and prohibitions on machete sales to Victoria), it remains your responsibility to ensure that any product you purchase is lawful to possess and use in your jurisdiction.

If you are unsure about the legal status of a product in your State or Territory, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your local police or obtain independent legal advice before placing your order.

5. Prohibited Items

Extac Australia does not sell any of the following prohibited weapons, as defined by applicable Australian Commonwealth and State legislation:

• Flick knives
• Ballistic knives
• Butterfly knives
• Any other knife, weapon, or item classified as prohibited or restricted under Australian law.

We actively monitor legislative updates to ensure compliance with applicable laws regarding the sale and distribution of bladed tools and weapons.

6. Legal Compliance and Buyer Responsibilities

By purchasing any product from Extac Australia, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that the possession and use of any product you purchase is lawful in your state, territory, and local jurisdiction.
• You must comply with all applicable Commonwealth, State, and Territory laws regarding the possession, storage, transportation, and use of any product purchased from this website.
• Customers in Queensland purchasing knives, machetes, swords, or axes must comply with the Queensland Government’s mandatory age verification process under the End Knife Violence campaign. We will not ship these items to Queensland addresses without successful age verification.
• Extac Australia is not responsible for any legal consequences that may arise from your possession or use of products purchased through our website.
