Gerber Strongarm Camp 420HC Fixed Blade Knife Grey

The Gerber StrongArm Camp Grey takes the proven durability of the StrongArm platform and adapts it into a lighter, more camp-focused fixed blade. Made in the USA, this version is designed around the cutting jobs encountered at camp, including food preparation, fire preparation, feather-stick making and general outdoor utility.

At the centre of the StrongArm Camp is a 10.2cm 420HC stainless-steel blade. Compared with the heavier-duty original StrongArm, the Camp version uses a thinner, higher blade grind to improve cutting and slicing performance. This makes it better suited to controlled campsite cutting and food preparation while retaining the durability expected from a full-tang outdoor knife.

The blade features a stonewashed finish, providing a subdued appearance while helping disguise scratches and other signs of regular use. A plain cutting edge provides straightforward sharpening and versatile performance across everyday camp tasks.

The handle is built around a tough glass-filled nylon core with a rubber overmould for additional traction and comfort. A textured pattern further improves grip, creating a secure interface when working around camp or outdoors. The full tang extends through the handle and slightly protrudes at the rear.

Carry versatility is another major strength of the StrongArm Camp. The included multi-mount sheath supports multiple configurations, including scout and drop carry, and is MOLLE compatible. This allows the knife to be adapted for left- or right-handed use and mounted to a belt or compatible outdoor equipment.

At approximately 130g, the Gerber StrongArm Camp provides a lighter alternative to the original StrongArm while retaining robust materials, full-tang construction and the versatile carry system that made the StrongArm platform popular.
