Sooo, after a few hiccups I got this cool Kukri. Extac accepted my Proof of Age Card and I promptly received a knife I'm more than happy with. I've never had a black coloured blade before but it made it easier to sharpen the blade to an equal profile on both sides and I think it might be 3Cr13 stainless, so it was easy to sharp up and with the odd oiling should stay rust free. My hand fit really well on the handle and provided a secure grip, so much so that a lanyard seems superfluous. The pommel on the handle is a bonus and I was quietly loving the damage it could cause. This is a lightweight hacker that has that familiar "ching" of a quality knife or sword. It's not a massive kukri but it's lightweight and its quality far exceeds its price. Good one
